Who You Are

You are a Principal Social Worker with a focus on Court Work. You have experience working with children subject to care proceedings and their families, producing high-quality work with evidence-based analysis. You understand the impact of trauma on children and parents and can tailor assessments to the learning styles of parents.

What the job involves

This role involves being a case-holding social worker for approximately 10/11 children (4/5 families) who are subject to care proceedings. Responsibilities include case management, statutory visiting, care planning and review, and court interactions. You will work with families to assist in decision-making regarding children's placements, assessing risks and protective factors, and exploring support networks.
