What the Job Involves
As a Principal Social Worker in the Fostering Service, you will work in a non-case holding role within a developing service area. You will engage in strategic planning, development, and be involved in day-to-day practice matters. The role involves leading and shaping practice and performance within the team, ensuring high standards of service delivery, and closely working with the Service Manager. You will contribute to the development of tailored services for kinship and mainstream carers, and aim for a consistently high-quality fostering service.
