You are a dedicated and experienced social worker, able to handle challenging cases and work effectively within statutory, organisational, and multi-agency systems. You have a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people and are capable of providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced colleagues.

What the Job Involves

This role requires you to manage complex cases, balancing support and control while collaborating with diverse professionals in multi-disciplinary teams. You will perform duties as specified under relevant legislation, investigate allegations concerning children, and make informed decisions on child protection matters. You are responsible for overseeing children under various care plans and preparing legal documentation for court proceedings. Additionally, you will design and implement care plans, handle referrals, manage casework autonomously, and maintain up-to-date records. The role also involves actively contributing to best practices within the team, reflecting on personal professional development, and ensuring the identification and fulfillment of diverse needs of the children and families you work with.
