Who You Are

You are a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. Passionate about safeguarding children and promoting their welfare, you have a solid understanding of child protection legislation. You thrive in a dynamic environment, adept at managing time-sensitive caseloads, and excel in partnership-working to develop effective interventions for children and families.

What the Job Involves

This role focuses on conducting timely, high-quality assessments of children and families referred to the Assessment Team. You will regularly carry out Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, recommend evidence-based interventions, and develop outcome-focused plans. Your responsibilities include attending strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and court proceedings, while maintaining accurate, high-quality case records. You'll apply relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures in all areas of your work, in line with organisational standards.

Skills

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Good knowledge of child protection legislation
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload
