What the Job Involves
This role involves developing and implementing child protection plans in coordination with multi-agency teams to ensure children's safety. Responsibilities include conducting statutory visits, maintaining accurate case records, and intervening in crisis situations. You will attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core group meetings, and court proceedings. Working closely with families, you promote positive change for enhanced child outcomes. The position requires collaboration with various agencies such as schools, healthcare professionals, and police to coordinate comprehensive support. You will also provide reports and evidence for legal proceedings, regularly review cases, and advocate for children's rights and welfare. The role is based in Sutton in Ashfield, covering the Ashfield District of Nottinghamshire County Council.
