What the Job Involves

The Information Governance Officer plays a critical role in supporting the organisation's records management and information governance functions. The position involves reviewing and appraising records for compliance with organisational and legal requirements, listing paper files, and ensuring accurate metadata entry into the Physical Records Management System. You will collaborate with staff to validate metadata and support information audits, and you will handle physical records safely. Your efforts will contribute to a significant decommissioning project involving the review of approximately 17,000 box files for transfer to a commercial storage provider.
